Organization Description
BidPal Network has developed a silent auction system that revolutionizes charitable giving by wirelessly automating and accelerating the auction process. Using a BidPal device, guests browse items and monitor bids wirelessly. The BidPal device constantly updates guests with the highest current bids, generating competitive bidding and increasing funds raised.

Position Summary
The Area Director is responsible for building and growing the BidPal business in their assigned territory. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Building their sales pipeline;
  2. Devising strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets;
  3. Managing the flawless execution of BidPal events within assigned territory;
  4. Managing all Metropolitan Service Area (MSA) activities; and
  5. Creating repeat and referral business

Job Functions
The essential job functions for the person in this role include:

  • Identify and contract new and repeat business fueling maximum utilization and quota of assigned territory
  • Execute BidPal events in assigned MSA including on-site execution and post-event review.
  • Provide corporate office with event feedback from assigned MSA helping to bring new innovation and efficiency to BidPal events
  • Management of BidBox hardware contents in conjunction with Operations Dept.
  • MSA staff management - hiring, coaching, and optimizing the performance of needed MSA employees/interns.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:
BS/BA required, MBA desired

Other Requirements:

  • 3-5 years work experience in Sales, General Management, and Events required
  • Experience in direct selling or marketing a product and/or service
  • Ability to manage employees and external event volunteers
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills - including: written, interpersonal, and public speaking
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel
