Mark Lacek, Chairman
Mr. Lacek is a pioneer in the loyalty-marketing field with over 20 years of marketing experience. Known for clear thinking and big ideas, he has launched and managed several successful companies. Mr. Lacek’s early achievements began at Northwest Airlines, where he was Director of Marketing and responsible for the development of the WorldPerks global frequent flyer program. Advertising Age recognized Lacek as “One of America’s 100 Best and Brightest in Advertising and Marketing.” From there, he co-founded The Lacek Group Worldwide, where as CEO he led the global marketing and advertising agency to annual revenues of over $40 million with offices in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. His work at The Lacek Group earned him honors as Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 1998 along with his long-standing business partner, Peter Brennan. Mr. Lacek also founded Lacek Development, a hotel, retail and real estate company, and most recently he was the co-founder and CEO of MilePoint Worldwide, an online loyalty application service provider located in Minneapolis.

He currently serves as Chairman of Faith’s Lodge, a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit dedicated to helping families and couples with a child experiencing a life-threatening pediatric illness or who have lost a child. Mr. Lacek is an honors graduate in economics from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and has an MBA from the University of St.Thomas.

Scott Webber, CEO
In his 30 years in the technology industry, Mr. Webber has successfully guided companies from inception to maturity. Most recently, Mr. Webber has been an investor and mentor to young Indiana technology companies. He currently serves as the Chairman & CEO of Volatus Advisors, an investment and advisory vehicle for young companies. Successful investments include Performance Assessment Network, which was launched out of the VTG incubator, and Autobase, where Webber also served as Chairman & CEO.

Previously, Mr. Webber served as Chief Executive of Corepoint Technologies, a global IBM software company, where he increased flat revenues by 60% in a period of eight months. As President and CEO of Software Artistry, Inc., he led the company to the first successful software IPO in the state, and later to an acquisition by Tivoli Systems, an IBM company. Webber also spent 10 years at Pansophic Systems, Inc.; a software company that grew from a $30 million privately held company to a $230 million publicly traded company during his tenure. Mr. Webber holds a Masters of Management from Northwestern University and a BA degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.

Kevin Boyne
As Chief Operating Officer for UUNET, Mr. Boyne was responsible for the global delivery of UUNET’s services, including the high-capacity backbone network, customer leased lines, the dial access networks, data center operations, capacity planning and procurement, network expansion, platform technology architecture and product engineering, new customer installation, sustaining customer care and all IT functions. Prior to joining UUNET, Mr. Boyne was the Director of UNIX Engineering at GE Information Services (GEIS), responsible for developing and implementing a UNIX architectural framework to support the migration of GEIS’ strategic focus of providing electronic commerce business solutions to the Global Fortune 500 from a traditional mainframe platform to a more cost effective technology.

Mr. Boyne currently also serves on the Board of Managers of Ontario Systems LLC and the Advisory Board of NuVo Technologies Inc. Boyne received a B.S. in Mathematics in 1974, and an M.S. in Computer and Information Science in 1976 from The Ohio State University.

Scott Cheney
Mr. Cheney has more than 20 years of experience, primarily in the direct marketing industry. He started his career at ADVO, which grew to be the largest direct mail marketing company in the US, with revenues in excess of $1 billion. As Controller for the National Accounts Group, Mr. Cheney worked directly with dozens of retailers to analyze and improve their direct marketing programs. His client experience includes: Wal-Mart, American Stores, Safeway, Sears, Albertson’s, Pizza Hut and many more. As Vice President of Analysis, he managed ADVO’s $450 million postage spend, set pricing for the entire $1 billion product line, co-developed Corporate Strategy, and was General Manager of the Direct Response Division.

Since ADVO, Cheney was VP of Analysis for MilePoint and was also a founding member of DVDPlay, a pioneer in the retail automation space. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer of PRIMIS Marketing Group, a $60m marketing company providing list sales, database management, and data analytics services. Additionally he was President of their on-line lead generation business. Mr. Cheney’s unique background provides a blend of analytic skills and executive financial management experience that results in a very pragmatic approach to marketing analysis and insights.

Scott Dorsey
Scott is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of ExactTarget. Since he co-founded the company in 2000, ExactTarget has grown to over 600 employees serving thousands of organizations worldwide. Scott is particularly passionate about building a great organization where both employees and customers find phenomenal success.

Scott has received numerous awards for his business and civic leadership, including Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, BtoB Magazine's Who's Who List in 2008 and 2007, Indianapolis Business Journal's "Forty Under 40," and Junior Achievement KPMG's "Best and Brightest" awards. He currently serves on the Dean's Advisory Council for the School of Informatics at Indiana University and sits on several non-profit boards including NPower, the Indy Partnership, and Techpoint. Prior to ExactTarget, Scott held numerous sales and marketing leadership positions with Divine, Inc., Metro, and Steelcase, Inc.

Scott earned his undergraduate Marketing degree from Indiana University and MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. While at Kellogg, Scott majored in Entrepreneurship and E-Commerce & Technology. Scott resides in Indianapolis, IN with his wife, four daughters, and labradoodle.
